Vasantham Pengal Sangam successfully conducted an HIV/AIDS Awareness Training Programme on December 1 at Ayyampalayam Panchayat. The programme was organized to create awareness about HIV/AIDS prevention, symptoms, treatment, and to reduce stigma in the community.

As part of the awareness initiative, IEC (Information, Education and Communication) materials were distributed to the participants to strengthen understanding and promote safe health practices.

The programme was graced by Chief Guest Thiru Ramalingam Anna, Trade Union President, who emphasized the importance of awareness, early testing, and social responsibility in preventing HIV/AIDS. VPS staff Mr. Thiyagarajan actively supported the programme and shared valuable inputs with the participants.

The programme was led by Ms. S. Padma, Director, Vasantham Pengal Sangam, who highlighted the organization’s commitment to community health, women’s empowerment, and inclusive development.

The awareness session received positive participation from community members and contributed to improved knowledge and confidence regarding HIV/AIDS prevention and care.
