With the support of the OTF International Assistance Committee, Canada, Vasantham Pengal Sangam (VPS) provided science laboratory materials and educational resources to Government Modern Higher Secondary School in Manachanallur, Tiruchirapalli District, Tamil Nadu.

The school serves many students from Dalit and Most Backward Class communities, whose parents are mainly landless agricultural labourers and daily wage workers. Due to limited resources, the school needed support to improve science practical learning facilities.

Responding to a request from Headmaster Thiru Muthuselvan , VPS facilitated the purchase of science lab equipment and educational materials, helping teachers conduct practical science classes and improving students’ learning experience.

This initiative benefits the entire student community, strengthening science education and creating better opportunities for children from marginalized backgrounds.
